Clair, the moment I met you …

March 5, 2013

Actually, it’s Claire … with an E.

This 14 year old is new to the singing school and has already recorded a song and taken part in two shows!  For the Winter 2012 cd ‘Sweet Dreams’, Claire recorded ‘The Voice’: An Irish song written by Brendan Graham and recorded by Eimear Quinn.

‘The Voice’ was Ireland’s entry for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest for which it won.  More recently, this song has become better known throughout the world largely due to the Irish singing group ‘Celtic Woman’.

This was Claire’s first time in a studio and I certainly didn’t make things easy by giving her such a hard song to learn, sing and then perform.

Claire also dances with her school, plays flute and is super-sporty with basketball, soccer and tennis as a few of the sports she plays.

And just for fun, here is Gilbert O’Sullivan singing ‘Clair’  🙂
